Process

Discovery & Empathy | Key Findings & Insights: The checkout process of MyOasis is complicated and lacks an advanced payment system that is flexible.

There is no subscription model, which may limit repeat customers when compared to other competitors in the market.

Ideation & Strategy | Information Architecture: After several stakeholder and SME interviews, together with the Lead Developer and the Project Manager, we started our brainstorming sessions to define the overall solution.

Together, using Miro as our white boarding tool to document our progress and ideas, we crafted the experience for Patients and Eye Doctors.

Wireframing & Prototyping: I designed low-fidelity wireframes to visualize the new layout and navigation, iteratively refining them based on user feedback. Afterward, we built a high-fidelity, interactive prototype to test the design.

Lesson Learned

Throughout this discovery, I learned the importance of constant communication with each one of my team members. Although we each had different responsibilities and had to deliver different types of assets within a very short amount of time, it was crucial that we all constantly aligned our vision and ideas.

Based on our research and recommended solution, we expect the recommended changes will not only increase overall customer adoption rates, but also would increase the number of first-time and repeat customer sales.

Visual Design

Visual Design

Even though visual design and branding was not within scope of the discovery, I went ahead and explored several color palettes and typography styles that would give the MyOasis brand a refreshed look and feel.
